Industries
A classroom scenario and a support call need different material and different marking. They do not need different software.
Education and training
Teachers, tutors and trainers build a scenario once, and every learner gets the same encounter: a character who stays in role, answers what was actually asked, and does not steer the learner toward the right answer unless the scenario says to.
Student or trainee meets any role the course requires
Corporate training
Onboarding, performance conversations, compliance training, leadership development. Employees practise the conversation before they have to have it for real, against a character who reacts the way a colleague, report or client actually would.
Employee or manager meets colleague, report or client
Customer service
New agents practise the calls that go wrong. The customer arrives already annoyed, has the account details somewhere, and does not explain the problem cleanly the first time.
Agent meets customer
Sales
Reps practise against a buyer with a budget they will not volunteer, a competitor already in the building, and a real reason for hesitating that only surfaces under good questioning.
Sales representative meets prospect
Recruitment and HR
Hiring managers practise structured interviewing against candidates who answer vaguely under pressure. Candidates practise against interviewers who probe.
Interviewer or candidate meets candidate or interviewer
Legal
Trainees run first interviews and witness examinations where the person opposite has an incomplete memory, an interest in how they come across, and details they will not offer unprompted.
Trainee or associate meets client or witness
Healthcare and nursing
Every student meets the same patient, presenting the same way, as many times as your programme needs. The variation comes from what the student asks, not from which volunteer turned up.
Student or clinician meets patient, relative or colleague
Dental education
Students take a history, work through a differential and commit to a diagnosis while the patient in front of them behaves like a patient: partial answers, background they mention only when asked, and a level of anxiety the case sets.
